History of Oakland Cottage
Oakland Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a 5,000 square ft craftsman cottage built in 1910. It spent some time as the Watkins Sanitarium, then Oakland Sanitarium, and later was renovated into a beautiful Inn with private, roomy suites and ample common spaces. Our spacious, yet cozy living room centered around the original fireplace opens up to our dining area for a warm, inviting feel. Each guest room features private baths, Roku TV, and a coffee station. Our nightly rates include a wonderful, full breakfast each morning, off street parking, WIFI, and more! Check availability online.

Breakfast in the Dining Room
A delightful full breakfast is served each morning in the dining room anytime between 8:30 – 10:00 (special diet needs or a lighter option for earlier or later breakfast needs are available with a 24 hour notice). Coffee & teas are available in the dining area for guests all day. We also have a guest kitchenette with fridge/freezer, ice maker, and other handy kitchen items, available to all guests 24/7 for your convenience.
The Living Room & Porch
Access to the house is available anytime with a lock box code to the front door and private key to your room, for easy “come and go.” Relax in the open living room by the fire in winter or on the front porch in summer.
