There’s something special about seeing Santa Claus practicing his chimney and rock climbing techniques at Chimney Rock Park near Asheville North Carolina!  And, it’s no wonder Chimney Rock Park was named one of the 10 best places to see Santa Claus by USA Today.  Santa has been practicing here for 20 years now – and what better place to practice chimney climbing than Chimney Rock Park – as he prepares for all those chimneys and toy deliveries on Christmas Eve.

You can watch this spectacular event from 11am – 2pm on December 8th and December 15th, 2012.

Both Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present – after the practice climbs, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, sit on Santa’s lap, enjoy live holiday music, hot cocoa and cookies, kids’ activities, all complimentary with your Park Admission Ticket.

And you might win free climbing lessons as well this 2012 Christmas Season.  At 1:30 on each of these days, there will be a winner for a 2 hour climbing lesson with Fox Mountain Guides, Santa’s own professionals!
