The 17th Annual Great Smokies BrewGrass Festival, Asheville, NC, September 21st, 2013 will be held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. park located on 50 MLK Drive.  Asheville loves its craft beer and this festival brings together the best of craft beer and regional bluegrass music and musicians for a winning combination.  Over 40 American brewers will be present to offer over one hundred and twenty varieties of beer.  Happenin’s will occur from noon to 7pm.

A major fundraiser for Big Brother’s and Big Sisters of Western North Carolina, and hosted by the Great Smokies Craft Brewers Association, Asheville’s Brewgrass Festival began in 1996 with the goal of educating “the masses to the qualities of craft brewed beer combined with the finest examples of bluegrass music,” becoming one of the most popular beer and bluegrass festivals in the Southeast.  And while you are here in town, be sure and enjoy the amazing beer, music and dining scene all over town.  Visit local breweries, tasting rooms, great restaurants with local beers on tap and music venues!
