Our Blue Ridge Parkway Cabin Rental, Big Mountain Vista (with BIG VIEWS!), is just off Asheville’s scenic Town Mountain Road, 3 miles to the heart of downtown Asheville. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also conveniently accessed via Town Mountain Road at Craven’s Gap (BRP MPM 377.5), just 3 miles in the other direction – by road or neighborhood trail. Main Level: Step down from the carport onto the rock patio to decks with BIG views. Walk into the main level of living & entertaining space with open kitchen, breakfast area, dining area, living & TV areas, and a full bath. Ceiling to floor windows on the western side offer fabulous views & westerly sunsets.
Downstairs: Stairs take you down to the 4 bedrooms for sleeping privacy. Here there is a queen bedroom with an extra twin bed & private bath. A second queen bedroom shares a large full “Jack & Jill” style bath with a king bedroom. Yet another twin bed is available in the king bedroom to offer extra sleeping flexibility & space. A fourth bedroom has a double bed. Three of the four bedrooms have access directly onto the deck and offer the westerly views. There is a queen sleeper sofa on the main level in the TV room.
What’s included, what to bring: The kitchen is equipped with cookware and dinnerware to accommodate the maximum stated occupancy of the rental. Beds will be freshly made and have mattress pads, bedspreads, blankets and pillows. Towels, washcloths and hand towels are also supplied for the maximum stated occupancy of the rental. There will be enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and basic cleaning supplies to get you started at the property for your arrival. We do not re-supply units with these items mid-stay. Complimentary WIFI & Direct TV is included. Most Cell phones have coverage, Verizon seems to have the best coverage in the Asheville Area in general. There is a washer and dryer, propane grill (propane provided), and wood fireplace (some wood is provided and there is plenty around the house to collect). Ample off street parking is available.
